Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sugar (for coating)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon (for coating)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a saucepan, combine water, 2 tablespoons sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil.
- Add flour and stir until a dough forms.
- Remove from heat, then mix in vegetable oil and vanilla extract.
- Transfer the dough to a piping bag with a star tip.
- Pipe churro shapes onto parchment paper.
- Place churros in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Coat churros in the sugar-cinnamon mixture.
Notes
- Serve with chocolate or caramel sauce.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Adjust cinnamon-sugar coating to taste.
