Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas (15 oz), drained and rinsed
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cilantro, cumin, coriander, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and flour. Pulse until well combined but still slightly chunky.
  3. Form the mixture into small balls or patties.
  4. Brush the falafel with olive oil.
  5. Place the falafel in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Cook for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown, flipping halfway through.
