- 1 can chickpeas (15 oz), drained and rinsed
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a food processor, combine chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cilantro, cumin, coriander, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and flour. Pulse until well combined but still slightly chunky.
- Form the mixture into small balls or patties.
- Brush the falafel with olive oil.
- Place the falafel in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown, flipping halfway through.
Notes
- Serve with tahini sauce or yogurt.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Can be frozen before cooking for later use.
