- 2 pounds beef chuck steak
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Season the beef chuck steak with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the steak for 4-5 minutes on each side until browned.
- Transfer the steak to a baking dish.
- Mix beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, then pour over the steak.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil.
- Bake in the oven for 2-3 hours until tender.
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- Serve with vegetables or mashed potatoes.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
