  • Carrots – 2, sliced
  • Green onions – 2, chopped
  • Soy sauce – 3 tablespoons
  • Fish sauce – 1 tablespoon
  • Salt – to taste
  • Pepper – to taste
  • Bean sprouts – for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the beef brisket on all sides.
  2. Add chopped onion, garlic, ginger, and carrots to the pot.
  3. Pour in beef broth, soy sauce, and fish sauce.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1.5 hours.
  5. Remove the beef, let it cool, then slice thinly.
