Description
A simple and hearty dish made with ground beef and rice.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup rice
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until softened.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Stir in diced tomatoes, rice, beef broth, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low.
- Cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until rice is cooked.
- Fluff with a fork and serve hot.
Notes
- Can substitute brown rice for white rice.
- Add vegetables for extra nutrition.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 3 days.
