Ingredients

  • 12 jalapeno peppers
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 pound ground sausage
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice jalapeno peppers in half and remove seeds.
  3. In a skillet, cook ground sausage until browned.
  4. Mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper in a bowl.
  5. Add cooked sausage to the cheese mixture and stir well.
  6. Stuff each jalapeno half with the sausage and cheese mixture.
  7. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top of the filled jalapenos.
  8. Place stuffed jalapenos on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

  • Adjust spice level by leaving some seeds in the peppers.
