Ingredients

- 1 bottle of vodka (750ml)
- 4 cups of sugar
- 4 cups of water
Instructions
- Wash and zest the lemons, avoiding the white pith.
- Combine the lemon zest and vodka in a large jar.
- Seal the jar and let it sit in a cool, dark place for 1 week.
- In a saucepan, combine sugar and water; heat until sugar dissolves.
- Let the syrup cool, then mix it with the lemon vodka.
- Strain the mixture through a cheesecloth into bottles.
- Seal the bottles and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.
