Description
This is a simple sandwich bread recipe for making soft and fluffy bread at home.
Ingredients

- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) instant yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix flour, yeast, salt, and sugar.
- In a separate bowl, combine warm water and vegetable oil.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients.
- Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf.
- Place the loaf in a greased loaf pan.
- Let it rise again for about 30 minutes.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes.
- Cool before slicing.
Notes
- Store bread in an airtight container.
- This bread can be frozen for up to 3 months.
- For a richer flavor, add 1 tbsp of honey or milk.
