Creamy and cheesy southern mac and cheese without eggs.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions.
  2. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  4. Add the milk, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  5. Mix in the cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Stir until melted and smooth.
  6. Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese mixture. Stir until well combined.
  7. Transfer to a baking dish and spread evenly.
  8. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes or until bubbly.
