Ingredients

- 1 lb elbow macaroni
- 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the macaroni according to package instructions until al dente.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add milk and heavy cream to the melted butter, stirring well.
- Mix in the cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to the cheese mixture.
- Combine the cooked macaroni with the cheese sauce.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
- Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add cooked bacon or diced jalapeños.
