- 1 pound corned beef, cut into chunks

Instructions
- In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the corned beef and cook until browned.
- Add potatoes, cabbage, and carrots to the pot.
- Pour in the beef broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour or until vegetables are tender.
- Season with salt and pepper before serving.
