A delicious and visually stunning berry trifle layered with fresh berries, whipped cream, and cake.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups
  • 1 pound
  • 2 cups
  • 1/2 cup
  • 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  2. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, then continue to whip until stiff peaks form.
  3. In a large trifle dish or glass bowl, layer half of the cubed angel food cake at the bottom.
  4. Add half of the mixed berries on top of the cake layer.
  5. Spread half of the whipped cream over the berries.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining cake, berries, and whipped cream.
  7. Garnish with mint leaves if desired.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

  • Feel free to use any combination of berries you prefer.
  • This trifle can be made a few hours in advance for easy serving.
