Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups vanilla pudding or custard
  • 4 cups cubed pound cake or ladyfingers
  • Mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  2. In a trifle dish or large glass bowl, start layering the ingredients. Begin with a layer of cubed pound cake or ladyfingers.
  3. Add a layer of vanilla pudding or custard over the cake.
  4. Next, add a layer of mixed berries on top of the pudding.
  5. Repeat the layers until you reach the top of the dish, finishing with a layer of whipped cream and a few berries for decoration.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
  7. Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.

Notes

  • You can use any combination of berries based on your preference.
  • For added flavor, consider adding a splash of berry liqueur to the cake layer.
