- 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups vanilla pudding or custard
- 4 cups cubed pound cake or ladyfingers
- Mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- In a trifle dish or large glass bowl, start layering the ingredients. Begin with a layer of cubed pound cake or ladyfingers.
- Add a layer of vanilla pudding or custard over the cake.
- Next, add a layer of mixed berries on top of the pudding.
- Repeat the layers until you reach the top of the dish, finishing with a layer of whipped cream and a few berries for decoration.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
Notes
- You can use any combination of berries based on your preference.
- For added flavor, consider adding a splash of berry liqueur to the cake layer.
