- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup finely chopped green onions
- 1/2 cup finely chopped bell pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh herbs (like parsley or dill) for coating
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, green onions, bell pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into a ball shape using your hands. If desired, you can also form it into a log shape.
- Wrap the formed ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to firm up.
- Once chilled, remove the cheese ball from the refrigerator and roll it in the chopped nuts and fresh herbs until well coated.
