Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings, tips removed and split
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place a wire rack on top of the baking sheet.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the baking powder, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  3. Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss them until they are evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.
  4. Arrange the coated wings in a single layer on the wire rack, making sure they are not touching each other.
  5. Spray the wings lightly with cooking spray to help them crisp up in the oven.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes
