Description
A simple recipe for making dandelion jelly using pectin.
Ingredients

- 2 cups dandelion petals
- 4 cups water
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 box (1.75 oz) powdered pectin
- 5 cups granulated sugar
Instructions
- Collect dandelion petals and rinse them thoroughly.
- Boil dandelion petals in 4 cups of water for 10 minutes.
- Strain the mixture to extract the liquid.
- Add lemon juice to the liquid.
- Mix in the powdered pectin and bring to a rolling boil.
- Add sugar all at once and stir well.
- Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
- Process in a boiling water bath for 5 minutes.
Notes
- Use only fresh dandelion petals.
- Ensure jars are properly sterilized.
- Adjust sugar to taste if desired.
