- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips (preferably 70% cocoa or higher)
- Fresh berries for topping (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the melted coconut oil, honey (or maple syrup), eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in the dark chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once cooled, cut into squares and top with fresh berries before serving.
Notes
- For an extra indulgent touch, you can add a dollop of Greek yogurt on top of each brownie.
- These brownies can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerated for up to a week.
