- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko or regular)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a shallow dish, combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In another shallow dish, beat the eggs.
- In a third shallow dish, place the breadcrumbs.
- Dredge each piece of chicken first in the flour mixture, then dip it in the beaten eggs, and finally coat it with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Fry the chicken nuggets in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
- For extra crispy nuggets, double dip the chicken by repeating the egg and breadcrumb steps.
- You can bake these nuggets at 400°F (200°C) for about 20 minutes, flipping halfway through for a healthier option.
