Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko or regular)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a shallow dish, combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. In another shallow dish, beat the eggs.
  3. In a third shallow dish, place the breadcrumbs.
  4. Dredge each piece of chicken first in the flour mixture, then dip it in the beaten eggs, and finally coat it with breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  6. Fry the chicken nuggets in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  7. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
  8. Serve with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

  • For extra crispy nuggets, double dip the chicken by repeating the egg and breadcrumb steps.
  • You can bake these nuggets at 400°F (200°C) for about 20 minutes, flipping halfway through for a healthier option.
