Description
A hearty slow cooker roast beef dish with rich gravy.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 pounds beef roast
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 carrots, chopped
- 4 potatoes, chopped
Instructions
- Season the beef roast with salt and pepper.
- Place the chopped onions and garlic in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Add the beef roast on top of the onions.
- Pour the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce over the roast.
- Add the chopped carrots and potatoes around the roast.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the beef is tender.
- Remove the roast and vegetables, and let the roast rest before slicing.
- Serve with the gravy from the slow cooker.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Use any root vegetables as desired.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
